Campaign finance reform is a hot-button issue that has been in the news recently with the McCain-Feingold "Campaign Finance Reform" bill. Here are my own ideas for campaign finance reform that not only would help minority parties, but would also be self-financing.

Election Reform has been the battle cry ever since the Florida election mess in November 2000, but most legislation has been like rearranging deck-chairs on the Titanic -- aesthetically-pleasing, but not much protection against disaster. Here are some ideas on where we should go (and IRVing isn't one of them!).

Election Reform II: The Unicameral Binary-tree Legislature. This is a governmental reform that combines election reform with legislature reform. With a single ranked ballot, voters not only determine the makeup of the legislature, but the relative power of each legislator.

Homeward Bound: I'll add some more political items later, but until then this just points at this page.
