If you are a first-time visitor to this website, you are probably either scratching your head right now and mumbling something about the Internet being even more bizarre than you imagined, or shaking your fist and muttering about the Trilateral Commission and Area 51. For both types of people, please read the following statement very carefully:
If, on the other hand, you think Science Fiction is the one literary genre with the energy and chutzpah to ask the tough questions, but think there is a definite lack of interesting alien removal paradigms in books and movies, then this is the place to put forth your ideas.
What do I mean? Remember how the aliens were destroyed in Independence Day? A stolen alien ship, a nuclear bomb, and Mac OS-8 acting as a virus (just kidding). Ho-hum, if not downright unbelieveable. There should have been some explanatory material -- the Area-51 scientists discovering such-and-such command to the captured alien ship causes the computer to shut down or turn off the force field, and a cold-war relic in the form of a 50 gigaton planetkiller lithium-cobalt bomb the U.S. denied ever building (or the creation of an antimatter weapon). The first would lay the groundwork for the so-called virus, while the latter would be necessary to blow away something "a third the size of the moon."
Of course, the aliens were unbelievable as well -- why expend so much energy trying to kill humans? Land with a scoutship and spread an airborne virus that has a mutagen switch from benign to lethal after so many generations (that's so humans won't hide in caves when people start dropping dead -- the virus spreads to practically everyone before becoming lethal). Or spoof Russian and American radars so they fire their ICBM's, and then mop up the survivors. Or even cover a ten-kilometer asteroid with carbon-black, and push it toward the Earth (remember, they were around since 1947). Wait a few years for the sky to clear, and you have a virgin planet to conquer.
So that's the setup. There are aliens running loose on the Earth, and your job is to hunt them down, find out what they are up to, and kill them. Press the button below to start your task.
